Trip at the art gallery

The painting that inspired me the most was the first one because it represent beauty life and spirt and that it something that I am full of. Even though it is ugly they made it look so beautiful.

I feel a connection with the fifth one because it represents everyone rasing their hand up for education. Which is a wonderful thing. As a child I always asked questions in class because I loved to learn new things and even today I still do that. So this painting just made me think of myself.

I would like to know more about the second one. Why a bed? Is there a story behind it? Why are there writings all over it? I feel like the artist was trying to send out a message of being alone but I am not so sure, but I would love to know.

  1. I love the works of art that you chose to represent in your blog posting! I agree with you that the first picture is not necessarily beautiful, but when combined together, the pieces create a beautiful representation of life and spirit. I, too, found them beautiful. I think that it is cool that you related the 5th picture to education, I'm an education major, and didn't even see that. The picture of the bed was the picture that I wanted to know more about as well. There are so many reasons why it could be there, what it stands for, what its purpose is, etc. I wondered as I viewed your pictures if you went to the Albright Knox, because if so, I don't think I saw a single one of these works!

Overall, I think you did a nice job relating the pictures to your emotions and thoughts!
